Nordqvist and Pace Pull Ahead in Third Round of Meijer LPGA Classic

On Saturday, Anna Nordqvist (Sweden) and Lee-Anne Pace (South Africa) shot matching rounds of 8-under par and now sit tied atop the leaderboard at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Both golfers are at 18-under par heading into the final round.

When asked what the key to her performance has been so far, Nordqvist said, “I think I hit most of the greens today.  Had real good lines and the speed.  Made a few longer ones today, which obviously helps. Hit a 3 wood to just a few inches on the long par 3, the fourth hole, to tap in, which probably was a really good birdie to get my round going. But overall, it was solid.”

Bluewater Kings Band also performed at the Grand Taste Garden on Saturday, as guests enjoyed food and beverages from local restaurants, breweries and Meijer vendors.
