As a family-owned retailer, Meijer is committed to supporting events that help bring families together. To help demonstrate this commitment, Meijer supercenters throughout the Midwest will host the Dr. Seuss Celebration In-Store Corporate Event for children and families featuring a live reading, bookmark giveaways and demonstration stations.
On Feb. 28, families are encouraged to discover, or re-discover, the memories that Dr. Seuss books help create. A Meijer team member will facilitate a live reading for children in the book or furniture departments.
After the live reading, children will receive a Dr. Seuss bookmark, while supplies last, and have the opportunity to explore the greatest Dr. Seuss books. Cat in the Hat characters will also make an appearance at select locations.
