The American Red Cross of Southwest Michigan is pleased to announce that Meijer has donated a semi-truckload of water for Berrien County residents affected recently by flooding.
“The American Red Cross is very appreciative of this generous gift,” said Breeze Ettl, Executive Director for the American Red Cross of Southwest Michigan. “Meijer and its team members truly understand that a community is bigger than just the place that you live, and we are all responsible for the well-being of one another. Time and again, they have been a true partner in the face of a disaster, and we could not be more grateful for their support in helping the community.”
The Red Cross is providing shelter and comfort, health and mental health services, distributing food and relief supplies and helping with damage assessment to those areas affected by the flood.
