Meijer Packaged “Boxes of Love” for Military Families

Louisville Meijer team members joined an army of volunteers in downtown Louisville before the holidays to participate in the “Boxes of Love” event.
An estimated 100 volunteers from Meijer, Fourth Street Live, Ford UAW Local 862 and the Indiana National Guard packed an estimated 1,300 turkey dinners for military families in need.
At Meijer, we are humbled by the generosity of our service men and women’s dedication to protecting our country. When we had the opportunity to say “thank you” by participating in this effort, we couldn’t pass it up.
