Meijer will double match every customer’s $10 Simply Give donation made Nov. 14-15 in an effort to restock the shelves of our food pantry partners in time for the holiday season.
Although the holiday campaign runs through Jan. 3, we plan to distribute a first installment donation to each of our participating food pantries before the holidays begin so the families they serve have the food they need.
The Simply Give program began in November 2008 as a way to help local food pantries throughout the Midwest achieve their missions of feeding hungry families. Since then, the program has generated nearly $12 million for those partners to restock their shelves and feed hungry families.
