In honor of the men and women of law enforcement, and to support the Indy Going Blue for IMPD effort, the Indianapolis Colts joined with Meijer and GE to provide 4,000 free blue light bulbs to local Hoosiers at the Pike Plaza and Southport Road Meijer stores on July 11.

Central Indiana residents joined the Indy Going Blue for IMPD movement to show support for Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Perry Renn, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on July 5. The Colts, Meijer and GE were inspired to organize this effort after learning that the residents were having a difficult time locating blue light bulbs in the Indianapolis area.
