Jump with Jill, the world’s only rock & roll nutrition show, will tour local schools across the Midwest to help teach children in kindergarten through sixth grade about nutrition through music. The assembly show features catchy music, dance moves and hip outfits that engage students on the subject of health and empower them to eat healthier.
Meijer is delighted to bring the show to 27 schools across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. As a family-owned retailer, helping families make better food choices in their local grocery store is a commitment we are pleased to support. Through our partnership with the Produce for Kids Healthy Families, Helping Kids campaign, donations from participating fruit and vegetable suppliers extend our reach by bringing nutrition education programs, like Jump with Jill, to schools across our footprint.
To help offer fresh produce to newly inspired students, Mejier recently donated a salad bar to Lessenger Elementary in Madison Heights, Mich. Jump with Jill helped decorate the salad bar with cling art to help students identify their new favorite foods.
