10th Annual Gilda’s LaughFest Guarantees Giggles for Whole Family

Gilda’s LaughFest, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based comedy festival, became the nation’s first-ever community-wide festival of laughter in 2011. Meijer has supported the event for all 10 years, this year sponsoring the event’s family-friendly attractions. The Meijer Family-Friendly Series includes Kids Rock Hip Hop Dance Parties and Kids Joke Times, where kiddos are invited to test their stand-up chops and bust out their best jokes on stage.
The 10-day comedy festival celebrates “laughter for the health of it,” raising funds for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, a charity providing free emotional health support to community members in need. Gilda’s LaughFest continues through March 14, 2020.
