Santa and Meijer Make Surprise Deliveries to Tiny Tots at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital

Meijer works hard to make the holidays brighter for children and was pleased to team up with Santa to make surprise deliveries to patients recently at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. The retailer donated six bundles of toys to the hospital’s playroom, and each of the dozen children who visited with Santa also got to choose one to keep.
“We are so pleased to partner with Santa and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital to help make the season a little brighter for these children and their families,” said Cathy Cooper, senior director of community partnerships and giving.
The Meijer toy buyers collected a variety of toys for children of all ages that will be donated to organizations throughout its six-state footprint all season long.
