Meijer Provides Flood Relief

Earlier this month, severe storms moved through the Chicago area and caused the Fox River in Algonquin, Il. to crest at record-breaking levels.
Volunteers worked together to fill and place thousands of sandbags to lessen the damage.
Still, many homes flooded.
Meijer immediately responded to the flooding in the northern Chicago communities of Algonquin, McHenry and Round Lake Beach. The retailer donated cases of bottled water and cleaning supplies, including bleach, laundry detergent and general cleaning products to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The items were immediately distributed to families in need.
