Day two of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give teed off on the sunny morning of Friday, June 16. After a commanding lead the previous day, LPGA pro Brooke Henderson maintained her position in first place by the end of play. After all golfers had completed their second round, the field was cut down to 70 who had finished at -2 or better.
Throughout the day, Meijer LPGA Classic spectators had the opportunity to visit the Grand Taste tent, a 25,000-square-foot area featuring over 40 of West Michigan’s best restaurants and breweries. Attendees were also treated to special cooking demonstrations by Celebrity Chef Dean Fearing, Meijer Executive Chef Michael Ollier and Meijer Sushi Chef Yan Naing.
