The Brookfield Zoo will kick off its fourth annual Summer Nights on June 16 where guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of fun activities.
Summer Nights, presented by Meijer, will feature live music, roaming kids’ entertainment, animal encounters, dining experiences and each night will close with a laser light show.
Live music will begin at 4 p.m. with opening acts and popular and national headliners will take the stage starting at 7 p.m. Gina Glocksen Band will kick off the summer concert series on June 16 and zoogoers can look forward to other musical acts this season including In the Valley Below, Ear Candy, Keith Anderson, Sixteen Candles and Dishwalla.
Families can head over to the Kids’ Stage for family-friendly entertaining starting at 6 p.m. each evening. Kids can enjoy magic shows, puppet and clown acts, music, and juggling and acrobatics. Several animal exhibits, including Clouded Leopard Rain Forest, Dolphins Underwater Viewing and The Swamp, will also be open until 8:30 p.m.
Admission to Summer Nights is included with the purchase of a general admission ticket—$19.85 for adults and $14.50 for kids ages 3 to 11 and seniors 65 and over.
