Meijer is joining forces with Spectrum Health by sponsoring a new mobile mammography unit that will be offering convenient breast cancer screenings to Meijer customers. The mobile unit, operated by Spectrum Health’s Betty Ford Breast Care Services, will be stopping at select Meijer stores throughout West Michigan.
The partnership is the latest way Meijer and Spectrum Health are strengthening their commitment to health and wellness by providing customers with opportunities to lead healthier lifestyles. The mobile unit makes it possible to bring the potentially life-saving screenings into communities where the service isn’t readily available. At each stop, patients will be seen from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with walk-on patients welcome and free mammograms provided for those who qualify.
