In conjunction with the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, Meijer will once again host the Meijer LPGA 5k Run & Walk presented by Kellogg’s®. The race brings together families, individual runners and members of the community for a competitive challenge benefiting the Meijer Simply Give program.
The cost to participate is $15 per person, ages 17 and under, and $25 per person, ages 18 and older. Each participant will receive a T-shirt, two daily tickets to the golf tournament and complimentary breakfast. The top three runners in each age group will receive $500, $250 and $100 respectively in Meijer gift cards.
West Michigan companies, community organizations, families and schools are encouraged to form teams of five to 10 runners; the cost is $150 per team. Winners of team challenges will receive a $1,000 donation to Simply Give in their team’s name.
