Meijer Kicks Sussex Lions Daze Off with a Bang

Earlier this month Meijer made a $5,000 donation to the Sussex Lions Club in support of its Sussex Lions Daze fireworks show. The fireworks display marked the end of the first day of the three-day festival at Sussex Village Park. The fireworks display wowed the crowd and lit up the sky over Sussex Lions Daze.
“We’re thrilled to have Meijer as our presenting sponsor for the Lions Daze fireworks…,” said Gary Bohlmann, founding member of the Sussex Area Service Club. “It is a great family-friendly event for our community and we are excited to have our new neighbor be a part of the fun this year.”
