This summer, the West Michigan Whitecaps, Fifth Third Bank and Meijer are coming together to ensure another rewarding baseball season not only for the Whitecaps, but also for the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids’ Inner-City Youth Baseball/Softball program by sponsoring the Y’s annual equipment drive. The Y’s Inner-City Youth Baseball/Softball program brings America’s pastime to more than 1,000 kids, ages 6-14, in the Grand Rapids area.
Anyone who donates a piece of new or gently used equipment (youth batting helmets, youth bats, baseballs, etc.) by June 9 will receive four lawn tickets to a 2016 West Michigan Whitecaps’ home game, a voucher for Wendy’s, and one free guest pass to the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids.
