The 2016 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give welcomes kids of all ages to not only watch the pros, but also learn from a pro at its Meijer LPGA Junior Clinics. Over the course of tournament week, June 14-19, we are offering a variety of events and activities that are sure to spark the interest of even the youngest golf fans.
Golf fans, ages 17 and under, are invited to participate in two free, two-hour clinics that will feature fun activities, games and group instruction by LPGA professionals and local golf pros at Grand Rapids country clubs.
- Meijer LPGA Junior Clinic presented by Procter & Gamble – 12 p.m. June 14 at Egypt Valley Country Club
- Meijer LPGA Junior Clinic presented by Johnson & Johnson – 1 p.m. June 15 at Boulder Creek Country Club
All participants must register for the clinics beforehand. No golf experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and readiness to learn. After each clinic, a shuttle will be available to transport participants to Blythefield Country Club where the LPGA Classic takes place. For more information on the Junior Clinics, click here.
While at Blythefield, kids and families can enjoy themselves at the Meijer LPGA Kid’s Center presented by Dove, a tent located between holes 10 and 17 that will feature crafts, snacks, Father’s Day activities and LPGA player autograph sessions throughout the week.
