For a third consecutive year, Meijer and Huggies joined forces to help close the #DiaperGap and raise awareness of diaper need through the Huggies Every Little Bottom program.
Meijer and Huggies recently donated $10,000 and 150,000 diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network. The diapers will be distributed to three diaper banks (50,000 each), including the Holland-based Nestlings Diaper Bank to help babies in need throughout West Michigan and the Midwest.
One in three moms nationwide struggle to diaper their child, so we made a pledge in support of the program’s cause to donate $1 for every package of Huggies diapers sold from November-January, up to $10,000, to the National Diaper Bank Network. In addition to Huggies’ donation of 150,000 diapers – enough to diaper 25,000 babies for a day – a $10,000 donation from Meijer will help keep babies clean, dry and healthy. We are proud to support the program, which empowers diaper banks to distribute diapers to families in need.
