To help ensure the American Red Cross can respond to meet the needs of communities affected by disasters, Meijer recently increased its annual donation from $500,000 to $550,000 to the Annual Disaster Giving Program. The donation will support the Red Cross in preparation of major disasters and assist in immediate response whenever and wherever disaster strikes. We understand that timing makes all the difference when disaster strikes and are proud to support the Red Cross – an organization that does so much good for those in communities when they need it most.
Among several other efforts, the Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters of all sizes –from wildfires to home fires– at no cost.
