Meijer Goes Orange for Hunger Action Month

Meijer Co-Chairman Hank Meijer, President J.K. Symancyk and Co-Chairman Doug Meijer were pleased to once again participate in Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s “Go Orange” campaign to celebrate Hunger Action Month. During the month of September, Feeding America food banks nationwide raise awareness about hunger relief. Although we recently opened four Meijer supercenters in the Milwaukee area, we’ve been a partner of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for a few years because it’s never too early to be a good neighbor.
Hunger is a problem that continues to increase, but we have helped make a different through a variety of philanthropic efforts that include our food rescue and Simply Give programs.
