Meijer Co-Chairman Hank Meijer welcomed more than 150 local youth to this year’s first Meijer LPGA Junior Clinic presented by Johnson & Johnson at Boulder Creek Golf Club. He encouraged them to have fun and enjoy the golfing tips from LPGA professionals Moira Dunn and Felicity Johnson.
This was the first of three free two-hour golf clinics that also featured group instruction and activities from local golf pros. The additional Junior Clinic events will be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The event was expanded from just one junior clinic last year due to popularity with the community.
That age group will also receive free admission to the Meijer LPGA Classic presented by Kraft at Blythefield Country Club with a ticketed adult.
