Meijer is devoted to contributing to the local schools in the communities it serves. Recently, we helped Warren County Public Schools launch the Synergy Center, providing meals to families in need all week long. Through our donation, the new facility will provide food items and other supplies for students and families across 22 schools districtwide.
The mission of the Synergy Center is to make sure students are fed outside of the regular school day. Warren County Public Schools is the 2nd largest district in the state of Kentucky and hunger is an ongoing issue. The Synergy Center will support families in the community by providing donated food items, promoting personal hygiene and ensuring all students have what they need to participate in school physical education programs.
