Chicago Bears Family Fest

With summer coming to an end, fans across the Midwest are officially welcoming football season. Understanding that sports teams can often play an important role in the community, on Aug. 2, Meijer was happy to take part in the Chicago Bears Family Fest.
An estimated 45,000 residents from the Chicago community joined together at Soldier Field to watch the Bears practice at the team’s home stadium. The family-friendly event included entertainment, games, outdoor activities, live music, giveaways and a firework show following the practice. Meijer hosted an interactive quarterback toss, providing a fun experience for fans of all ages.
