The American Red Cross is pleased to announce that Meijer has donated $500,000 to support Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
“The American Red Cross is very appreciative of Meijer’s generous gift,” said Sam Tidwell, Regional CEO for the American Red Cross of West Michigan. “We’ve seen our own disaster in West Michigan recently with the tornado in Kentwood and Wyoming, and we’re fortunate to have partners like Meijer who graciously support our disaster relief efforts on so many levels.”
Partnerships with local emergency agencies, nonprofits, and committed financial partners like Meijer provide the crucial support that makes it possible for the Red Cross to deliver its services at no cost to the public.
