Meijer State Games of Michigan a Success

The Meijer State Games of Michigan’s fifth annual Summer Games were a huge success with an estimated 7,000 athletes participating in 39 different sporting events from urban downhill skateboarding and wakeboarding to football and lacrosse.
The Meijer State Games of Michigan is a signature event of the West Michigan Sports Commission.
“It is our mission to bring youth and amateur athletes into our community and create an economic impact through visitor spending,” said Mike Guswiler, president of the commission.
