Meijer Celebrates Homeroom Heroes

Every school has a teacher who goes above and beyond to impact students’ lives and success and Meijer recently celebrated local teachers in its footprint as part of the Homeroom Heroes contest.
Meijer asked parents, fellow staff and community members to nominate a teacher they felt deserved recognition and honored six teachers with a surprise celebration in their classrooms. The schools also received more than $1,000 in free supplies donated by Meijer partners including Clorox, Crayola, Expo, Kleenex, Paper Mate, Scott, Sharpie and Viva.
