The third day of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give began with the Official Pro-Am, where members of the community were able to pair up with LPGA golfers for 18 holes before the tournament’s official start the following day.
The opening of the Meijer LPGA Kids Center—which remains open throughout the rest of tournament week—kicked-off with the second Junior Clinic presented by Johnson & Johnson. Over 40 children attended to receive lessons in putting, chipping and driving with The First Tee instructors and this year’s sponsor exemptions August Kim and Megan Kim. The Kid’s Center will also be hosting activities all week including crafts, snacks, Father’s Day activities and LPGA player autograph sessions.
Wednesday evening was celebrated with a partner barbecue, thanking everyone that has made the tournament possible, before official play began Thursday morning.
