While our customers and team members are getting used to wearing masks in our stores, one recurring piece of feedback our team members often hear is, “I miss seeing your smiling face.” Finally, our team members in Waterford, Mich. decided to do something to show off their smiles from behind their masks.
Each of them received a clear “smile circle” button to wear next to their badge, featuring a photo of themselves smiling to remind customers and one another that they’re still smiling behind their masks.
“Smiles, like laughter, help ease tension and anxiety and our smile circles are a perfect conversation starter,” Waterford Store Director Natalie Stacey said. “This gives both our customers and our team members an opportunity to engage in positive conversations during these uncertain times!”
