Meijer Team Members Honored with ‘GenNext’ Awards

Four Meijer team members are being honored for playing pivotal roles in the retail industry with the 2020 Progressive Grocer GenNext Awards.
- Becky Bronkema, Director of Merchandising for Deli and Bakery
- Ryan DeLeon, Director of Merchandising for Meat and Seafood
- Craig Mathews, Director of Retail Operations and Support
- Justin Stricklen, Director of Market Format Stores
The GenNext Awards recognize individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated a commitment to a career in the grocery industry; innovation through the work they are doing; leadership, including the capacity to inspire and lead others, and a commitment to learn from others; and a commitment to getting involved in the industry, helping through charities or in the community, and bringing the industry into the future.
Each winner is featured on Progressive Grocer and will be officially awarded at the GenNext Symposium, which will be held virtually in December.
