This holiday season, Meijer is partnering with ComEd and the Chicago Zoological Society to present the 34th annual Brookfield Zoo Holiday Magic festival.
Chicago’s largest lights festival, Holiday Magic will feature more than 1 million LED lights showcased throughout the zoo. Attractions also include the new Polar Lights exhibit, professional ice carving demonstrations, the 41-foot Talking Tree, an interactive tic-tac-toe game, a model railroad display, caroling to the animals and live entertainment.
The festivities, which will take place on select evenings throughout December, will kick off on Dec. 5 with an opening ceremony that will include performances by Vivid Dance and Chicago’s Isaiah Grass. Photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available through Dec. 20 and the event will close Dec. 31 with the Zoo Year’s Eve celebration featuring a DJ, games, party favors and prizes.
