Bike to Beat Cancer Event Raises $460K to Benefit Children with Cancer

A recent fundraising event by Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville raised $460,000 to benefit Norton Cancer Institute, which serves children with cancer.
More than 800 cycling enthusiasts came out to participate in the seventh annual Bike to Beat Cancer event that featured 5-, 35-, 65- and 100-mile bike rides through the beautiful bluegrass of Kentucky.
Meijer was pleased to be a sponsor of the worthy event, and handed out bottled water to each participant, as well as coffee and Meijer reusable bags.
