Partnering with the Manistee County Council on Aging

As Meijer enters new communities throughout the Midwest, we understand the importance of supporting local organizations. To thank the Manistee, Mich. community for welcoming the new Meijer store, we teamed up with and presented a $25,000 check to the Manistee County Council on Aging.
The organization works to keep seniors independent by providing a variety of activities and assistance to local residents 60 years and older, including chore services, friendly visitors, a dining program, exercise classes and more. With the additional support, the organization will be able to continue its mission of helping Northern Michigan seniors stay independent and in their own homes.
