Meijer wants to join the state of Wisconsin in welcoming Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s (FAEW) new President and CEO Charles P. McLimans. He succeeds Bonnie J. Bellehumeur, who retired in Dec. 2014.
As former President and CEO of Loaves & Fishes Community Services, a hunger relief organization affiliated with the Feeding America food bank in Northern Illinois, McLimans joins FAEW with a combination of skills and commitment to the organization’s mission. With seven years of experience leading all facets of operations in his previous role, he will serve and strengthen FAEW’s 800 partner agencies to fight hunger in communities across eastern Wisconsin.
At Meijer, we share McLimans’ commitment to fighting hunger and providing support for families in the communities we serve. Before Meijer broke ground in Wisconsin, we developed partnerships with Milwaukee area food banks. We’re pleased to partner with FAEW and look forward to fighting hunger in this region together.
