Meijer and Meredith Vieira Show Team up to Surprise Deserving Non-Profit

This week Meijer partnered with the Meredith Vieira Show as part of the show’s “Pick Me Up Truck” week – a week dedicated to giving deserving people a ‘pick me up’ as a thank you for the good work they do.
The truck’s first stop was Detroit – surprising the local non-profit Humble Design with $10,000 from Meijer and the Meredith Vieira show – to help the organization continue rebuilding Detroit one family at a time. Humble Design helps families who have recently moved out of homeless shelters by providing much needed furnishings. To date, Humble Design has helped furnish and decorate 440 homes for families. Meijer is proud to work with local organizations to help give back to the communities we serve.
