Thanks to the generosity of Cincinnati Bengals fans, the Meijer Canned Food Drive held earlier this month at Paul Brown Stadium was a complete success with a donation of more than 6,200 pounds of food and more than $17,000 to Freestore Foodbank.

The effort will allow Freestore Foodbank to provide more than 57,300 meals to children and families in the Cincinnati area for the holidays.

U-Haul of southwest Ohio placed pods around the stadium to collect the canned goods, and Meijer donated an additional $10,000 to the food bank to provide 30,000 more meals.
